Who we are
This website is run by Yes Coach Hire Ltd, trading as Yes Coaches, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14406032). Registered office: 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. Yes Coach Hire Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
Information collected through the quote form
The quote form collects the pickup location, destination, journey date, return date when supplied, passenger quantity, journey type, name, phone number, email address and any notes you enter. It also records the page used to send the enquiry, a reference number and the time it was sent.
If you choose WhatsApp, the same journey details are recorded on our server when WhatsApp opens, so the booking team can follow up even if the message is not sent.
To protect the form from spam, the website keeps a one-way hash of the sending network address (not the address itself) and the result of each submission.
How the information is used
Your information is used to work out vehicle options and a price for your journey, to contact you about the quote and, if you go ahead, to arrange the booking. We send you an email confirming that your request was received. We do not use quote details for marketing.
Legal basis
Quote information is processed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Spam-protection records are processed for our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f)). Analytics cookies are only used with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
How long we keep it
Copies of quote requests stored by the website are deleted automatically after 12 months. Enquiries that become bookings are kept for as long as needed for the booking and for our legal and accounting obligations. Spam-protection records are kept for up to 15 minutes.
Who we share it with
We share information with the companies that host this website and deliver our email, and, where needed to quote or arrange your journey, with the licensed coach and minibus operators who would carry out the journey. We do not sell personal information.
Third-party services
Google Maps Platform. Address suggestions in the pickup and destination fields come from Google. Text typed into those fields is sent to Google to return matching places, under Google’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare Turnstile. The form’s security check is provided by Cloudflare, which processes limited technical information about your browser to stop automated spam.
WhatsApp. If you choose to send your request on WhatsApp, your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
The website works without cookies. If analytics is switched on, you are asked first, and Google Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept. They tell us which pages are used so we can improve the site. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. The website also stores your cookie choice in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how it is used, and withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Email info@yescoaches.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
